Privacy
The short version
- Dates you enter in the priority date checker are never stored. With JavaScript on, they never leave your browser.
- When you use the checker, we count that a check happened for a category and country. The date you enter is never stored.
- No analytics cookies, no ad networks, no tracking scripts.
- If you subscribe to the digest, we keep your email address, the categories and countries you chose, and the date and page you signed up from. Nothing else.
- That data is stored in Cloudflare D1, with private backups in Cloudflare R2 that are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Digest emails are sent through Resend.
- Signups that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
- To limit abuse of the signup form and the checker count, we keep a hash derived from your IP address. It expires within the hour.
The priority date checker
With JavaScript on, the calculation happens in your browser. To draw the history chart, the page requests that category’s public cutoff history; the request contains only the category and country, never your date. The page also sends a count that a check happened, with the same category and country and nothing else; we keep daily totals per category and country, with no identifier attached. Without JavaScript, the form is sent to our server, used once to build the answer, and neither logged nor stored.
The monthly digest
Subscribing is double opt-in: nothing is sent until you confirm from the email we send you. Every digest email has a one-click unsubscribe link that needs no login.
Unsubscribing keeps your address on a do-not-email suppression list so it can’t be re-added by mistake. Email [email protected] and we’ll delete it entirely; copies in the private backups age out within 30 days.
We don’t sell, rent or share subscriber data, and the digest carries no advertising or sponsored content.
Who handles your data
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores digest data. Like any web host, it processes standard request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
- Resend delivers digest emails, and so processes your email address when an email is sent.
