What time of day is the Visa Bulletin released?
The State Department does not announce a schedule or a time. This site records the date each bulletin first appears, from October 2026 on, and will state a measured window once 12 release dates are logged. The October 2026 bulletin was recorded on Sep 29, 2026.
Why is it sometimes late?
The State Department does not explain its timing, and we will not guess. A bulletin normally appears during the month before it takes effect. This page shows when each one actually appeared, as the record builds.
Is the State Department release the same as the USCIS release?
No. The State Department publishes the bulletin with its two charts. USCIS then posts on its own page which chart applies for filing adjustment of status that month. For October 2026 both were available on the same day. Check uscis.gov/visabulletininfo before filing.
Does it release on weekends?
